Located in Baltimore, Maryland, the Hippodrome is one of four buildings part of the France Merrick Performing Arts Center. The Hippodrome at the France Merrick Performing Arts Center was originally built in 1914 to house various
vaudeville acts and movie showings. The venue closed down in 1990 but was later re-opened in 2004 as part of the center. Today, Baltimore’s Hippodrome Theatre at the France Merrick Performing Arts Center is one of the city’s leading venues for live entertainment and special events.
