Sat., Apr. 14, 10am-3pm, 12th Annual Robot Fest at the National Electronics Museum: Awaken your and your student’s technology curiosity! This is a one day DIY and exploration event to create new, previously unseen, forms from lifeless electronics and mechanical parts. This event has expanded over the last dozen years to include hands-on demos from LEGO, the Art Institute of Washington, New York’s MakerBot, BaltimoreNode, HarfordHackers, and HacDC, just to name a few. Experiment with RoboDog and Gregor the Gorilla, talk with UMBC’s “Prototyping and Design” class, see full-size R2D2s, and much more! The 12th Annual Robot Fest will spark an interest in science, technology, engineering, and math with workshops and activities designated to appeal to all ages. Admission is $8/adults, $4/middle and high school students, and younger children are free. For additional information please call 410-419-8247 or email info@robofest.com. Close and free parking. Join us at the National Electronics Museum (http://www.nationalelectronicsmuseum.org/) -- where enjoyment and education come together!
